Hunt Engineering Company provided quality assurance inspections and building code required special inspections for PhilaPort’s expansion of the Packer Avenue Marine Terminal including the construction of new waterside crane rails, landside cranes rails, demolition of existing shed structures, demolition of existing waterfront structures, and stormwater management and site improvements. Our certified construction inspectors provided both construction oversite inspection on behalf of PhilaPort as well as special inspections as required by Philadelphia’s Department of Licenses and Inspections. Construction inspection by Hunt Engineering Company’s staff included reinforced concrete, structural steel erection, structural steel welding/bolting, earthwork and demolition.
