As a member of the Global Program Partners Program Management Team, Hunt Engineering Company provided land surveying services across the airport facility to support a submission to the Federal Aviation Administration on behalf of the Philadelphia International Airport which is a critical part of the airport facility management. Hunt Engineering Company’s services included conducting redundant GPS observations of key control points for use in developing new aerial photogrammetry and mapping of the airport. Additionally, our survey staff conducted field surveys of the runways to obtain the locations of important airport features, including airport navigational aids, runway thresholds, touchdown zones, runway corners, and verification of runway widths and lengths. At the conclusion of the field surveys, Hunt Engineering Company’s survey staff assisted in the preparation of the final survey report which included observation diagrams, copies of field notes, point data, procedural narratives, and data analysis.
