As a member of the Global Program Partners Program Management Team and multiple on-call teams at the Philadelphia International Airport, Hunt Engineering Company’s survey department has assisted in numerous task orders supporting the airport’s continued maintenance and service capacity expansion efforts. Under these contracts, our survey staff has completed ALTA Land Title, topographic and as-built surveys for land acquisition, design and construction projects. To comply with Federal Aviation Administration requirements, our staff has provided the survey data necessary for the airports Aeronautical Geospatial Information System (GIS) and Exhibit ‘A’ Property Maps. Additionally, we have supported the airport’s environmental consultants with field survey and mapping of wetlands, tide gates and regulated waterways located on their properties. Through these diverse assignments, the firm’s survey staff has gained experience working with the airport and understanding the survey needs of an international airport as well as the Federal Aviation Authority.
